Welcome to C-17 Tools

These tools are designed for shippers and cargo loading personnel to determine if cargo can be safely loaded on a C-17 aircraft with or without shoring, and whether an Air Transportability Test Loading Activity (ATTLA) Certification Letter is required. As shippers and loading personnel do not have access to the same resources as aircraft Loadmasters, these calculators were developed to bridge that gap and support safe, compliant cargo operations.
